Paris Portrait Sessions July 3-9/’23

Bring me back to Paris ~ SVP :)

Summertime in Paris is the best time, and I want to be there again to soak up amazing French food, French spirit, buy delicious fruits and veggies on sidewalk markets, and of course meet amazing people along the way. Last Summer I was there to document an incredible Paris destination wedding and spent a week taking bike rides, running through parks, chilling with friends and enjoying naps in the long grass. Bloody beautiful. I’ll be in Paris the first week of July and want to make it extra incredible. My Paris adventure last summer ended too soon, and I didn't want to leave. There was too much to see, too much to do, too much to eat, and when time ran out, I was plain sad to go.

The plan is simple just like last time - make friends with the staff running the corner bar below my room, chum it up with the out front bakery staff down the street, spend all day outside exploring new and hidden joints to relax in, take a drink in, discover new and cool places to visit, and pick up souvenirs everywhere. My summer I came out with a very well made canvas bag from perhaps the most far out army surplus store I’ve ever seen, and nearly bought a full on top-gun flight jacket for my 10 year old. I want to make this trip next level and to do that I want to shoot some portraits while I’m in the city.

My couples sessions roll like this:

I know having a camera pointed at you can be a little different, which is why I setup my portrait sessions more like an adventure than a photoshoot. We create images on the go, exploring streets, corners, pockets of bright and dark patches in front of store windows, and really, it’s just a ton of fun. Each session runs 2 hours, which gives us enough time to chat a little, setup in some specs where you’ll look amazing no matter what, explore a few areas without feeling rushed, and walk away feeling suuuuper good about everything. It’s always a win/win. it’s all abotu light, fun movement, beautiful and tangled up body language with you and your sugars, you can’t hide all these super expressions on your faces.
